Anonymous: How did you go through long distance with your boyfriend when you were in high school? did you guys talk everyday or sth?? im going through it now and im not sure how this works :/
I won’t pretend that I’m an expert on LDRs, but one thing that pulled us through that year was my boyfriend’s dedication. We didn’t talk everyday, because the time difference made things extremely difficult, especially as it was an awkward gap. The only reason why our LDR worked out was because we could envision a future where we could be together and knew that once we pulled through that one year, we would find a way to be physically together again.
If there is a time limit on your separation, things will become infinitely easier. If you don’t see an immediate future, the amount of commitment required increases exponentially. If you really believe that your relationship is made to last, it will! At least the one positive thing that comes out of LDRs is it makes your relationship that much stronger and better :) Keep your head up!
Anonymous: hey ariel! :-) do you know if your friend Zoe took the UKCAT? thanks so much!
Hi! Unfortunately, Zoe didn’t because she’s not doing medicine/dentistry in England - she’s doing Biochem. Sorry!
Anonymous: is your current boyfriend your first lovee??? :P you two are so cute. haha
Hahaha this made me laugh out loud :) But yes he is my first love!
Anonymous: your hair is so long now!!! wha. its very pretty!! how do you grow it so long and pretty?? good luck with your exams!!! :)
Awww thank you so much :) My hair is really long haha but I’m actually considering cutting it, getting rid of my bangs and just having a middle part. I honestly have the worst hair habits in the world so I wouldn’t recommend it. I literally cut my hair once a year which allows it to grow long but makes the ends of my hair very unhealthy, so I’d suggest you get regular trims a couple of times a year. Make sure you tell the hairdresser you’re growing it though so they don’t chop too much off :P
