THEME CHANGE;

After talking to my friend about how I’m really picky on themes, I finally took the plunge and changed mine. I’ve stuck with the same theme for pretty much a year now and I was really reluctant to let that one go because I personalized it a lot and it’s hard for me to find a theme that I like completely. I just spent the past hour editing my new theme and I have got it almost adjusted to my liking except I can’t figure out how to change the links to another color! I’ve tried editing the HTML and entering different color codes but for some reason it just won’t work. I would really appreciate it if someone could tell me how to fix it?
